I wish that all of us as believers could really come to a full understanding of how incredible we all are and what radical entities we are. Wonder of wonders, God lives inside us for the purpose of expressing Himself through us to others. In other words, God not only made us for Himself, He made us for others, to be agents of life to them.

In the Corinthian letter, Paul says that Stepahas, Fortunatus, And Achaicus "refreshed" his spirit when they came to visit him. The fascinating thing is that the word "refreshed" is the very same word that Jesus used when He told the weak and weary people in this world to come to Him, for when they did so they would find "rest" or (refreshing).

This is a very dark and desperate world and people grow weary and tired every day from living in this world. They get frustrated, and wounded, and hurt, and they cry out is there anyone out there who will "get me"? Anyone out there I can go to that will be a safe harbor for me?

We as Believers have the opportunity to answer that cry, and be available by the love and accepting power of the Holy Spirit, to provide a place of encouragement and refreshment to them, a place where they can let their hair down and be themselves, a place where they can share their struggle without fear of being judged. We can be the place of rest, because we can be the place of acceptance!

THIS IS POWER! IT RADICALLY CHANGES LIVES WHEN IT IS UNLEASHED! Paul experienced it --- he wrote, "God, who comforts the depressed, comforted me by the coming of Titus." Paul, in a time of being weak and weary, found rest in the Holy Spirit flowing through Titus. WOW! I want to be such an agent of life, don't you?
